Teen charged with two felony sex crimes against HERSELF!

Fayetteville: fayobserver.com is reporting that a sixteen-year-old high school student was charged with "two felony sex crimes against herself." Yes you read that correctly! The charges were a result of the girl making "a sexually explicit nude photo of herself for her boyfriend last fall, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office concluded that she committed two felony sex crimes against herself and arrested her in February."

This bizarre situation has resulted in an even stranger charge sheet: "The girl was listed on a warrant as both the adult perpetrator and the minor victim of two counts of sexual exploitation of minor - second-degree exploitation for making her photo and third-degree exploitation for having her photo in her possession."

Luckily for the girl, Brianna Denson, she avoided prison time and being put on the sex offender's register, after a plea bargain in July may allow her record to be cleared altogether.

The boy she shared the images with is yet to be as fortunate. According to fayobserver.com, Denson was "sexting" her boyfriend Cormega Zyon Copening. The Sheriff's Office hit Copening with "five sexual exploitation of a minor charges - four for making and possessing two sexually explicit pictures of himself and the last for possessing a copy of the picture that Denson made for him.
Copening, who was 16 at the time and is now 17, also faces possible prison time and the requirement to register as a sex offender if convicted. The charges have already forced him off the football team at Jack Britt High School. He had been the quarterback."

In court on July 21, Denson told District Court Judge Stephen Stokes that she was responsible for the crime of disseminating harmful material to minors. This is a misdemeanour and does not have the life-ruining requirement that she register as a sex offender.
One of West's assistants dropped the felony sexual exploitation charges.
Stokes put Denson on probation for a year. He ordered her to pay $200 in court costs, stay in school, take a class on how to make good decisions, refrain from using illegal drugs or alcohol, not possess a cellular phone for the duration of her probation and to do 30 hours of community service.
If Denson stays out of trouble, West's office next July will drop the misdemeanour charge. She will be able to move on with her life with a clean criminal record.
She shouldn't have been charged in the first place, researchers Temple and Drouin said.
"It seems to me that you might be among the strictest of the laws that I've heard of" in the country, Drouin said.
Copening's case is still pending.

Murder charges dropped against Aisling Brady McCarthy, Irish Nanny in Boston baby death

Boston: The Irish nanny at the centre of a murder case, involving the death of one-year-old baby girl, Rehma Sabir, has had the charges against her dropped. 

As Boston news 90.9 WBUR has reported: 

"Since her arrest two years ago, Aisling Brady McCarthy has denied murdering 1-year-old Rehma Sabir, a baby in her care.

The Middlesex County district attorney dropped charges after the state’s medical examiner, who had performed the autopsy, ruled that the death of Sabir was not a homicide after all.

“The medical examiner issued findings saying that based on what she was then reviewing, she was changing her opinion,” said Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan.

The medical examiner said Sabir died of complications of a brain hemorrhage of unknown cause, and not the result of blunt force trauma to the head, and amended the manner of death from “homicide” to “undetermined.”"   Source

Breaking: Suspect Apprehended in the Shooting of Officer Charles "G.I. Joe" Giniewicz

As reported by Western Journalism: "... developing reports, an Illinois police officer was fatally shot Tuesday morning during a traffic stop.

Shortly before 8 a.m., the Lake County officer pulled over three individuals for what he deemed “suspicious activity,” a department source revealed. According to the latest reports available, authorities are looking for one black male and two white males in the area, using both ground and air surveillance. Police arrived on the scene following an interruption in radio communication. They found him with a gunshot wound and, according to multiple sources, he has since died from the injury.

Judge won’t allow 5-year-old’s prior sexual history at child-rape trial

"Evidence of a 5-year-old’s alleged prior sexual conduct will not be admitted in court.
A Luzerne County judge at a motions hearing Monday denied, among other motions, accused child rapist William Charles Wunner’s request to introduce at trial evidence of his alleged victim’s sexual history, according to court papers.
Wunner, 29, of Wilkes-Barre, filed court papers earlier this year seeking to admit evidence the 5-year-old girl had engaged in sexual activity which her mother “did nothing about.”
The court papers argued the mother’s knowledge of this activity coupled with her resentment for Wunner motivated her to accuse him of assaulting her daughter. Wunner also argued this biased the alleged victim toward him.

Court papers indicate Judge David W. Lupas ruled the girl competent to testify and found no evidence her testimony was tainted."  Source

TV hosts describe Lafayette shooter John Russell Houser as anti-tax, anti-feminist ‘gadfly’

It has been reported by Al Jazeera  that the perpetrator of last week's LaFayette theater shooting which left 3 people dead, including the gunman, John "Rusty" Russell House, has a history of "mental-illness, troubled, anti-tax, government hater"
It has also been reported by the Washington Post  that John House was also a misogynist who may have targeted the "feminist" film Trainwreck and hated liberals:

"Jonathan Martin reports on Houser, a drifter from Alabama with a history of mental illness, hatred for the government, and for women and liberals: "John Russell Houser, the man police say opened fire inside a Lafayette, La., movie theater on Thursday night, had boasted in an online profile that he made dozens of appearances on television talk shows. The hosts of those shows said Friday that Houser over-stated his role, but they do remember him as an argument-starting guest who was angry about high taxes and the growing power of women. Houser allegedly killed two people and wounded nine others who were watching the new comedy “Trainwreck,” a film written by and starring the feminist comedian Amy Schumer."

Convicted child killer & molester arrested at public library #RichardDobeski

Marion County Sheriff Deputies arrested a convicted killer and child
molester who traveled to Indianapolis from northern Indiana.

Richard Dobeski, 67, was arrested Thursday at the downtown Indianapolis Central Public Library.

Dobeski
served time for killing two boys in 1965 and was released in 2007, only
to go back to prison in 2008 for molesting a child.

He was
released on July 16, 2015, and had until midnight on July 23 to register
as a sex offender. He was arrested on four charges of failure to
register, all level 6 felonies. He will be extradited back to La Porte
County to face his charges.

WATCH: #Witness: 3 dead in #Lafayette shooting, gunman dead

LAFAYETTE, La. - A gunman opened fire at a movie theater in Louisiana on Thursday night, killing at least three people and injuring at least six others before shooting himself, officials said. The shooting took place at the Grand Theatre in the city of Lafayette, said Clay Henry, vice president of operations for Acadian Ambulance. Henry said eight people were brought to the hospital and that two, including the gunman, were pronounced dead on arrival. Henry said emergency workers got the call to go to the theater about 7:30 p.m. 

He did not immediately have any additional information. Lafayette police say they know the identity of the gunman but are not releasing it at this point. Police say the 58-year-old white man died of a self-inflicted gunshot. They also said they closed other theaters in the area out of precaution. 

The shooting happened about 20 minutes into a 7 p.m. showing of the movie "Train Wreck," according to the newspaper.

Dead Man Found with $5m Gun Stash, linked with Missing Woman; Believed He Was Alien Hybrid,Savior and a secret spy.

 This is the most bizarre thing ever!

"A man who lived in a home filled with guns and whose decomposed body was found in an SUV in Pacific Palisades was believed to be a human/alien hybrid secretly working with the U.S. government by his fiancée and a missing Oxnard woman who worked for her, according to the fiancée’s  mother.

Dawn VadBunker of Oxnard was last seen by her family on the same day 60-year-old Jeffrey Lash died. Lash has not been officially identified as the man whose body was reported to police on July 17, but his former attorney confirmed his name to KTLA."

10 Year Old Girl Charged With Raping 4 Year Old Boy (Update needed)

Boston Harbor "Baby Doe" May Have Been Poisoned!

Boston, MA: Just ten days ago I blogged about my hope that like the formerly known Baby Grace, Riley Ann Sawyer, would be quickly identified, by perhaps, a relative who didn't see the child enough to realise she was missing.

From that blog:
"Five days after the release of Gibson's precise post-mortem sketch, Riley's grandmother in Ohio recognized the sweet face and contacted police.

So my hope is that, like Riley Ann Sawyer, some concerned family member, who like Riley's grandmother, mightn't see the child enough to notice that she is not longer around, and this little girl can too have a name, and be brought home and given a decent burial."


But there doesn't seem to be any swift ending for this little girl's suffering, even after death. Three weeks after she was found in a thrash bag along the Boston Harbor shoreline, Baby Doe, as she is now known, is still pretty much an enigma.
And now ktla.com is reporting that the child may have been poisoned before her death.

“She was discarded by someone, and the indignity of it has really struck a chord with all Bostonians and all New Englanders,” Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley told CNN. “And we have tried very, very hard to identify who she is and how this could have come to pass.”

He continued: “The body had no obvious signs of violent trauma, so we’re looking at a possibility of a poisoning. It could have been accidental, for example. I don’t know the answer to that,” Conley said. “But that’s why we appeal to the caregivers, the parents. Please step forward. Clear your conscience. No child, no person, deserves to be discarded like this.”
Authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology tests to determine whether the girl was poisoned or ingested drugs before her death, Conley said.
According to CNN, on Monday, officials said some results came back and show she did not ingest bleach or drain cleaner.

It’s unclear how long she had been dead, but there was a modest amount of decomposition when her remains were removed from the trash bag she was found in, according to Conley.

The blanket & leggings found with Baby Doe in Boston Harbor

Can you help to identify the Boston Harbor "Baby Grace"?

Boston MA: According to wtnh.com, authorities have released a computer-generated image of a young girl found dead last week inside a plastic bag along a Boston Harbor shoreline and are hoping it generates clues about her identity.

District Attorney Daniel Conley said at a news conference Thursday  that the girl’s identity and how she died remain mysteries.
They also added that they believe that she had not been in the water too long a time.
Officials believe the brown-haired, brown-eyed girl was about 4 years old. She stood about 3 1/2-feet tall and weighed about 30 pounds.
Her body was found June 25 inside a bag that also contained a black and white zebra-print blanket. (Pic below.)

"Authorities believe the blanket may have been special to the girl," the Suffolk District Attorney's Office stated in a release Thursday.

Do you know this beautiful little girl! Four year old girl's don't just turn up missed, and dead, and nobody knows them Unless of course, and this is purely hypothetical due to the circumstances, certain family members don't want her to be found.

 Remember the sad case of Baby Grace? Or Riley Ann Sawyer, to give her her given name. Her parents beat her death, dumped her in the sea, because they never wanted her body to be found. Four months later she washed up, and the issuing of  sketches, of  what she looked like, much like in the present case, led to an identification.

Sandusky Standoff 911 Call Released

Sandusky, OH: Erie County Sheriff Paul Sigworth's department has released the terrifying 911 call made by the wife of the man held police at a standoff last weekend.

Gerard "Gary" Moore, 60, of Homegardner Road, remains in stable condition in the intensive care unit at Firelands Regional Medical Center. This after he shot himself in the chest after a nearly day-long armed standoff.
Moore allegedly tried to kidnap his wife at her Sandusky home and threatened to kill her. She fled, police said, and Moore fired a gun at her as she ran off.


As reported by The Sandusky Register, Moore remains at the hospital as he recovers from his injuries, but he was served with his warrants there this morning at 7:20 a.m., according to Sandusky police Chief John Orzech.
Moore is now considered to be in police custody, and Sandusky officers will guard him 24/7 until his hospital release, Orzech said..

CENTENNIAL, CO: The defence continued to present their case in the trial of the so-called Theater Shooter, on Tuesday June 30 2015.

They showed the jury video of the gunman in jail.

The video, from November 2012, is significant to Holmes' insanity defence, as it allegedly shows the beginnings of a nervous breakdown, or psychotic break, the accused suffered in jail.
In the video, James Holmes can be seen standing on his bunk and then jumping or falling backwards to the ground.

LISTEN: Ohio police release 911 call about hoax hostage "swatting" situation

Parma, OH: The cleveland.com is reporting that the Parma Police Department have released the audio of a hoax 911 call in which a man told the dispatcher that he had already shot his father and was holding his mother and sister hostage.
The man, who sounds rather distressed on the call, called 911 at 8:20 p.m. and told a dispatcher that he along with having already shot his father, he also claimed to have his father, sister and his mother tied to chairs.

Parma officers and the department's SWAT team surrounded the home but discovered that the call was a hoax, Lt. Kevin Riley said.
"I just shot my dad in the stomach with a 12-gauge shotgun," the man said during the call. "He's in the bathroom right now. My mom's in the bathroom and so is my sister. They're all tied up."
Investigators released audio of the call Monday and are asking the public to help identify the caller, Riley said.

At one point in the call, the tension rises very quickly when the dispatcher asks for the caller's name; he threatens to shoot the rest of his family.

Investigators have said they believe the hoax is  an example of a trend called "swatting," which involves reporting life-threatening emergencies in the hopes of bringing in a SWAT team and a large contingent of first responders.

Florida Man Calls 911 to Confess to Brutal Murder of his Girlfriend.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.

This is the face of the man who at 6.20 am, Sunday, June 28, called 911 to tell them that he had "killed his girlfriend." in the room they shared at the Rashelle Hotel.

Deputies responded to the motel,where they arrested 52-year-old Reginald Kindle without incident.

 According to an incident report, Kindle confessed to killing her, by choking, early Saturday morning after an argument about his drug use. He told detectives he tried to kill himself, by taking a large amount of pills and cutting himself. but ended up calling 911 to report his actions, Deputies said.

Responding deputies found the victim's body under a pile of clothing in the room, obstructing her from view. They said she was bound at the wrists and ankles with belts, preventing her from escaping or fighting back. The report stated that Kindle had several lacerations on his lower arms and wrists and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The victim, who was in her 50s, was found dead Sunday morning at the Rashelle Hotel on Northwest 27th Avenue near Fort Lauderdale.

A hotel manager informed detectives that the couple had checked in together May 29.

Associate medical examiner Dr. Rebecca MacDougall arrived at the scene and ruled the death a homicide. MacDougall said the victim had been dead for more than a day.

Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion said Kindle claimed he killed his girlfriend about 2 a.m. Saturday.

Kindle was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder.

Jodi Arias Screws Over the Alexanders AGAIN

Phoenix, Arizona: Just a few short hours ago, Maricopa County Superior Court judge, Sherry Stephens, announced that Jodi Arias must pay restitution to Travis Alexander's family in order of more than $30,000.

Arias, who is now serving the life sentence handed to her in April, was not at the hearing.

The restitution is to cover travel, lodging and other costs arising from having to attend two trials.

It is roughly one-third of the $100,000 restitution the Alexander family had asked for. And Arias' defence attorney, Jennifer Willmott, was quick to point that the reason for the discrepancy in the two figures, is "because they didn't turn in all the necessary receipts."

Willmott also explained that she arrived at the amount to be distributed to each family member using the receipts that were submitted to her. She also revealed, that she had asked the family to disclose the amount of money they received in donations from trial followers to "offset their expenses". They declined to reveal the amount.

Prosecutor, Juan Martinez, told the hearing that the Alexander family had been too traumatised by the two trials to come to the restitution hearing, so Judge Stephens awarded the amounts proposed by the defence.
The amounts break down as follows:
Travis' Sisters: Samantha, $15,530.73, Tanisha, $10,754.99, Hilary, $4,232.11.
Travis' Brothers: Stephen, $1,372, and Dennis, $225.60.

Even though $30,000 is nothing to be sneezed at, when you consider the trauma and lost this family has had to endure for six very long years, a lot of it in the public view, it's a pittance.

And of course, Willmott had to stick the boot in my reminding the world that Arias most likely won't ever be able to pay for it! 

"In the past, my experience has been that victims are unlikely to get the money when somebody has been sent to prison for so long because they don't have the ability to make it," Willmott said. "Eventually she'll be able to get a job making 10, 20 cents an hour so they can take money from that, but it's very small." 

Poor Jodi! :'( 

So it seems that yet again Jodi Arias is going to screw over the Alexanders. They probably never expected to get anything from her, and maybe this is just a formality to them.

On Wednesday, June 10th 2015, Gargi Datta, took the stand in the trial of James Holmes. She attended graduate school with Holmes from 2011 until he dropped out the following June. For some of that time, Ms Datta, who came across as very intelligent, confident, was Holmes' girlfriend. And once again, she showed her maturity and confidence, by being not one bit embarrassed to speak of the personal nature of her relationship with James Holmes.
Quite tellingly, she referred to Holmes as "the defendant" throughout her direct testimony. A choice not missed by the Defence, as on cross examination, they asked her did she always refer to Holmes as the "defendant" or was it just after he'd been charged. Obvious question, but, of course, the defences job is to humanise their client, at any chance!

Some things of note in these chats:

USPS America Scientists Forever Stamps

The much discussed, and up until now, little seen notebook of James Holmes has come into the public domain. First brought up at trial during the opening statements for both sides, each offers their own view of its importance. For the prosecution; the notebook is a clear and concise map to mass murder. For the defence; a pure example of the workings of a seriously ill man.
But now through testimony over the past couple of days the notebook, which Holmes had mailed to his campus psychiatrist Dr Lynne Fenton before the shooting, has been laid open to the public.

We learned, through the testimony of Sgt. Matthew Fyles, that it was intercepted at the mail centre before it reached its intended destination. It was in a manilla-type envelope with bubble wrap. On the front the aspiring scientist had attached sixteen stamps from a very specific collection: the USPS American Scientist "Forever" stamps. Four rows of each scientist. We also learned that there was a post-it type sticky attached to the notebook, on the front was this symbol (which had previously been found on a calendar in Holmes' apartment, etched on the date of the shooting):

On the back of the sticky note read: "Who, what, where, when, why and how." This symbol was found a further three times throughout the notebook, as per Sgt Fyles. 

Also contained within the envelope was twenty $20 bills, some of which were burned.

And then the testimony turned to the contents of the notebook itself. We learned that Holmes' had written the notebook for three people; his mother, his father and his sister. We also learned that he had an "obsession to kill." Read the full notebook below.
